Synopsis

The documentary is based on the life at Kazdağı (Mount Ida) well known with its high oxygen and its medicinal herbs. Speakers talk about the beauty of the life in nature with the animals and the value of the plants. They live far from the artificial daily lifestyles of our time. Barter shopping in exchange with olive oil within traditional terms and natural choices is the basis of their life. Everything in this village is healthy and natural. The documentary shows different people with their stories underlining the importance to adopt oneself to nature even when struggling with it.

Director's biography

Çağatay Çelikbaş is born in 1995 in Edremit, Balıkesir. He had his primary and high school education there. He has attended Ege University at 2013 and 2017 he got his bachelors degree in Radio Television and Cinema; Communication Faculty of Ege University. He has begun second education on Advertising at 2015. Finished his master's degree on documentaries at the same University. Undersigned many projects of fictions, documentaries, trailers and photography. “Actor” and “Hidden Heaven” documentaries directed by him were finalists at many national and international festivals and had prizes. He has been nominated as jury member at national and international festivals and contests. At present he has ongoing film and trailer projects.
