Synopsis

Selma, a teenage girl, is looking forward to making pizza for her father’s birthday and going to the amusement park with whole the family. But the day doesn’t turn out that way, as her father doesn’t turn up. Though their father eventually finds them at the park, Selma’s joy quickly fades, leaving the siblings to quietly search for ways to fill the emptiness left by their family’s unraveling bonds.

Director's biography

Ahmet Toğaç was born in 1995 in Turkey. He worked as a film critic on several websites and magazines. He made his first short film Eavesdropper in 2019. The film has been a national success. It competed in the Adana Golden Boll and İstanbul Film Festival, and it selected the top five films in the year from SIYAD (Turkish Film Critics Association) in 2019. He is looking to world premiere with his second short film Home Cooking. Currently, he is a research assistant at Okan University in the Department of Cinema and Television.
