Synopsis

During a ride with a stranger, hitchhiking couple Yana and Yassen get into an argument that makes them part ways. Left alone with the driver, Yana finds out that what started as an impulsive conflict response has left her deal with her vulnerability of being an easy victim. 

Director's biography

 Denitsa Ganeva is a fourth-year student in Film and Television Directing at NATFA Krastyo Sarafov. Her passion for storytelling began in her teenage years with her first short fiction film Overflow (2019), where she served as both director and screenwriter. The film premiered at the Burgas International Film Festival, marking the beginning of her journey in cinema. Her first student film is Hitchhikers (2025) followed by the documentary At the End of the Way(2025). In parallel with her academic work, Denitsa is actively involved in the professional film industry through her work with Attic Films Bulgaria, where she contributes as a junior producer, assistant director, and a key member of the casting department. She has played an integral role in the production of several films, most notably Gadje (2025, dir. Gogo Vanev) and Raspberry Sorbet (2025, dir. Biser Djonev). Currently, Denitsa is working on her graduation short film, Silent Trails (working title), scheduled for release in 2026 as part of her Bachelor’s degree completion.
