Synopsis

Robert, a lonely 40-year old, wanted to invite Marta, his colleague from work on a date. His tenacity and clumsiness made the situation very serious when it turned out that he accidentally… kidnapped her. Robert tries to undo the whole situation , but is she going to believe that he didn’t mean that? At the other extreme he tries not to disappoint his mother using a lie that Marta didn’t reject him and that the date lasts.

Director's biography

Directing student at National Film School in Łódź. In 2022, graduated from the same school with a degree in screenwriting. His short films have been screened on many film festivals worldwide. His first film, "Julia at the seaside" was selected for over 20 film festivals. His most recent film called "Sister of Mine" won several awards including Best Youth Documentary Award on IDFA. The film was officially selected for over forty festivals and received more than twenty awards. Currently he is working on a thirty minute horror movie and preparing for a feature film screenwriting debut.
