Synopsis

After the success of Caroline’s first book, her agent pressures her for a follow up. Afflicted with writer’s block, she throws herself into origami to procrastinate. Emmanuelle becomes furious when she discovers that Caroline has written nothing. But she begins to see the potential in the origami.

Director's biography

With CARNAVAL, his first feature-length film, which he independently directed, produced and wrote, Alexandre touched audiences with a fresh new vision in the world of Quebec cinema. The film turned heads at the RVQC, the FCVQ, Lift-Off and in Poland. Alexandre is passionate about hypernatural acting and is driven to bring strong and complex female characters to the screen.
